On the surface, Stardust looks like a cheesy little fluff fantasy. In many ways it is. Yet at the same time, it’s also the most fun I’ve had with a film since watching the first Pirates of the Caribbean.

While there are times of moderate amusement, Shrek the Third offers few surprises. It seems as though perhaps the creators have found their stride and are calling it in more than going out on a limb.
Unlike his other films, Moore finally starts to offer some sort of a solution that involves something other than marking an ‘X’ next to a name that doesn’t say ‘Bush’.
It’s flashy and feels hip, but I wonder if it’s all just a smokescreen much like the one in the film’s plot.

One would expect a holiday epic with a title like Santa Claus: The Movie. It implies something definitive, which would therefore put it in the canon of Christmas classics. However, this is definitely not the case.
A tender film that steps outside of its expected genre.
Even though I have read a comic or two in my life, it’s not just for us nerds….It’s a universal story. Honest.
The premise of Show Me sounds lame, but the end result is something much greater than its plot.

Santa’s Slay stands as one of the ultimate Christmas B-flicks. For my time, it’s no Jack Frost or Jack Frost 2, but it does have a couple inspiring moments.
