Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides continues to steer the same course as its predecessor sequels, focusing on convoluted storylines that zap all the fun and energy that made the first film so great.
One of the worst family films I’ve seen since another animated adaptation: Garfield. Talking bears aside, the film lacks logic, energy and, most of all, fun.
The best episodes in season one are the ones that really get into the moral issues. Often, the resolutions are more bleak than they are uplifting.
It might be filled with endless chases, but I was still completely bored throughout. Despite a glitzy facade of stunning desert visuals, the action felt recycled.

Despite a couple of uneven parts that may try the patience of some, the whole of Fantasia is a marvel.
Although magnificent and filled with imagination, Fantasia 2000 doesn’t hold up as being particularly ground-breaking or innovative.
