Marley & Me is a film of moments and many of them are cute. For anyone who has ever had a dog or a close pet, there’s bound to be some connection.
Focused, fun and action-packed, Disney’s Bolt proves that it doesn’t need the Pixar banner to make an excellent CG animated film.
As an action movie, Quantum of Solace is solid, albeit nothing memorable. But this is James Bond.
While some of the characters are obnoxious beyond belief, the show as a whole is just as smurfy now as it was 25 years ago.
Helped greatly by excellent performances from both of the film’s leads, as well as the rounded supporting cast.
Continues to shine bright as one of the most magical and delightful films in the Disney animated library.
While it certainly is a couple of notches below its action classic original, French Connection II is still a darned good action film that maintains the core of its central character and has some added layers that are genuinely disturbing.
Grounded in a gritty reality – and shot as such – it’s still an action classic today that offers adrenaline-fueled pacing without insulting one’s intelligence.
Finally, a solid film in which the Amazon’s story can be told to current audiences.
Not only an excellent history lesson in Western comedy over the last century but also the beginning of a conversation on why people find certain things and styles humorous.
