Despite some memorable musical numbers, gorgeous sets and energy galore, there’s something about Funny Face that wasn’t working for me, and it wasn’t just the absurd idea about Audrey Hepburn being a frumpy bore.
When it comes to cinematic fashion and romance, perhaps none are more iconic than Blake Edwards’ Breakfast at Tiffany’s.
Took the sleaze of the teen comedy and spun it into something that’s both hugely entertaining and extremely insightful.
Occasionally interesting, always beautiful and regularly tedious, the film attempts to capture a time and a feeling yet it ultimately fails to provide the depth needed to make it wholly successful.

Mixing drama, comedy and horror, Dexter’s first season presents itself an unforgettable and highly addicting look inside the mind of the world’s most sympathetic psychopath.
At its simplest, it’s a gorgeous film with beautiful period costumes and intricate set designs. However, something tells me that’s not the level director Saul Dibb wanted to achieve greatest on.
The issues it tackles are just as relevant now (if not more so) than they were when the film was first released theatrically back in 1997.
A delightful comedy with an edge of romance that is taken down a notch from its utterly drippy ending.
