Like any gimmick, once the initial intrigue of the 3-D has been satiated you’re left looking at Game Over like you would with any other. And once you start looking at [it] like any other film you quickly realize it’s boring.
Captures the awkwardness of adolescence like few films have.
Pump Up the Volume is the kind of movie that hits home. It touches on real emotions and is a reminder of just how darn awkward it is to be a young adult.
With more laughs than frights, it’s tough not to have at least a little fun in all of its natural badness.
While not as good as Bowling for Columbine, Roger and Me does show delirious hints of what was yet to come.
