Boring, annoying and not funny, Pete’s Dragon is one of the dullest films from Disney that I’ve ever seen.
The film is sweet and innocent, just as one might expect. While not horrible, I can’t heap praise on it either.
Boring and unoriginal, this new version might have some fancy visuals and a loud soundtrack but they’re just a smokescreen for how boring and lifeless the film is.
Charm can go a long way in making a film. Or, in the case of Confessions of a Shopaholic, the charm of Isla Fisher makes the film bearable.
Enjoyable, silly and a wee bit whimsical. It’s also treacherously predictable at times, the two leads lack chemistry and it has the token horrible Rob Schneider cameo.
Focused, fun and action-packed, Disney’s Bolt proves that it doesn’t need the Pixar banner to make an excellent CG animated film.
Continues to shine bright as one of the most magical and delightful films in the Disney animated library.
Like the burnouts who stick longer than their leather jackets warrant, the shtick has gotten stale.
Pop fluff intended for kids stuck between Dora the Explorer and Gossip Girl. Consider it a bonus that it’s tolerable, if not fun, for the rest of us as well.
